All My Weeks are Play Weeks

If you get the chance to hang out with Ol' Fifty, you know he is a very playful guy. Some people even call him "Mr. Fun." If they don't, they should. So, you might think this so-called "Play Week" would be right up his alley, so to speak. We'll, let me lay some truth on you. Fifty thinks that "Play Week" was a scam. He had to work! But, that's OK -- Fifty is cool -- and he can handle whatever comes his way with verve and style.

First, Ol'Fifty went to PageFlakes and created his very own, customized start page. Whew! If you thought that Fifty could lay down some scintillating conversation before -- wait 'til you talk to him after a few weeks of takin' in the "Word of the Day." And, though he always dresses in style, he'll now always be appropriate as well after he consults the Weather section, powered by Weather.com.

What did he do next, you asked? Well, if you're lookin' at this blog, then you know it has been blinged. Yeah, that's right -- Fifty has added a "Link-O-Rama" to keep y'all up-to-date with the sites that are "where it's at." Check it out, for sure.

My Experiences with Delicious and Google Docs

Well, what can I say. The experience has been simply fabulous. Divine, even. I'm going to recommend it to all of my friends and acquaintances. I don't really think I could do it justice trying to write about it -- mere words cannot capture the experience. All I can say is: "take the plunge, you won't regret it." Tell 'em Fiftymix sent you.

Let's check in on Ol' Fifty. What's he been up to lately? Well, in addition to radiating the vibe of quiet confidence for which he's best known, he's been spendin' a good bit of his time reading other cool people's blogs. In order to do this with his customary flair, my man Fifty signed up for an account with Bloglines. Now, even with his busy schedule, Fifty can keep up with groovy sites like "Soul Sides," (www.soul-sides.com) where he reads about timely topics like "Gumbo Funk" and "33 1/3" (http://33third.blogspot.com/) where he catches up with his favorite reading material. So, if your feeling lost and out-of-sorts, don't despair, head to Bloglines -- they'll make you feel alright. It sure worked for Fifty.
